Courmayeur
Courmayeur is an Italian town in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley, in northern Italy. Courmayeur is located at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe (4.810 m.), in the Alps mountains, and is crossed by the Dora Baltea river.
Its picturesque mountain scenery and healthy mountain air make Courmayeur an attractive destination for people coming from every part of the world. It is one of the most famous skiing locations in Europe specially for the number and quality of pistes.
Still, Courmayeur is popular not only in the winter for skiing, but also in the summer for hiking or simply relaxing.
Courmayeur is near Aosta and Turin directly by motorway and Chamonix, in France, through the Mont Blanc tunnel.
